THANK YOU!!!  To all the donors, parents, students and advisors who made the annual auction another success!  As a whole, the NLYC raised approximately $4900 towards their tour next spring!  It was a great encouragement that even through the snow, they had a record amount of bidders and an overall great time of fellowship!  Please visit their website www.northernlightsyouthchoir.com for updates on the choir throughout their 2010-2011 year.

We met our goal again!  Through God's grace and His provision to our church family, we were able to collect enough items to pack a total of 406 boxes!  That is 56 boxes over our goal of 350!  We just want to let our church family know how thankful we are for their generousity and willingness to come and pack boxes with us during our packing party on November 7th.  We started the evening with a sandwich supper and then proceeded to pack boxes, fellowship and enjoy some Christmas music to get us in the spirit!  This year OCC rolled out EZ Give which allows the donor to track their box and see where it arrives when delivered to a needy child.  Through an anonymous donation, we were able to give everyone a chance to send a box through this EZ Give method.  I am sure we are all excited to find out where our boxes ended up!  Once again, a big thank you to all who donated items, donated shipping and helped pack each one of these boxes with love and prayer.  Thanks especially to our OCC organizers Brian and Sue Martin, without them we would never meet our goals!  Enjoy the next few months off and be ready to start collecting items again soon!

Join us on Sunday, August 29th for a lunch at the Oxbow church!  We have been invited for praise and fellowship and of course lunch!  The Oxbow church will be providing the meal and Dunntown will be providing music and dessert.  Our youth will be there that morning to bring them a youth service filled with music and drama.  Please come out with us to support our fellow church in Oxbow.
