Adam was tempted, he failed, and he fell, cast out of the garden, doomed to die and to return to the dust from which he came. Christ, the second Adam, the greater Adam, succeeded, and by his success, his perfect life, his death in our place, and his resurrection out of the dust, has won for us entry into the greater garden – the very kingdom of heaven.
Where Adam fell, Christ stood; where Adam failed, Christ succeeded; where Adam was defeated, Christ stands victorious!
